Integrated Care System Board
The Birmingham and Solihull Integrated Care System Board is comprised of the senior leaders of all the health and care organisations in Birmingham and Solihull. The Board has oversight of the whole system, to coordinate services and to plan in a way that improves population health and reduces inequalities between different groups. As a partnership we set the strategic direction and define the outcomes the system should deliver.
The Birmingham and Solihull Integrated Care System is developing in line with the proposed Health and Care Bill, which intends to support integration more formally. As part of the development of our ICS we will be establishing an Integrated Care Board (ICB) and Integrated Care Partnership (ICP), which will in time replace the current Integrated Care System Board.
