Implementing the NHS Long Term Plan
Implementing the NHS Long Term Plan - Proposals for possible changes to legislation
NHS England and NHS Improvement are running two national events aimed at people who work in and use NHS services. Participants will hear directly from NHS leaders about the proposals and how they aim to improve the planning and delivery of care. There will also be group discussions so that people can explore the plans in more detail.
The events will be from 10am-2pm in central London on 3 April 2019, and central Leeds on 16 April 2019. If you are interested in attending please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. to find out how to book a place.
The NHS Long Term Plan included suggested legislative changes to help implement the plan faster and more effectively. NHS England has set these out in further detail and invite NHS staff, partner organisations and interested members of the public to give their views on the proposals. You can read more information about the proposals on the NHS Long Term Plan website and then complete an online survey to share your views. The deadline for responses is 25 April 2019.
