We are looking to recruit a medical secretary to work full/part time.
To be responsible for undertaking a wide range of secretarial and administrative duties. Provide administrative support to the practice team as required.
- Type referral letters as dictated by doctors
- Type administrative letters, reports as required
- Liaise with hospitals, social services, consultants, etc regarding patient care
- Refer patients via the e-referral system and oversee progress of those referrals
- Oversee the advice and guidance process
- Action clinical tasks
- The administration of private work requests, eg insurance reports, Subject Access Requests
Previous NHS or medical experience is preferred.
