Medical secretary

We are looking to recruit a medical secretary to work full/part time.

To be responsible for undertaking a wide range of secretarial and administrative duties. Provide administrative support to the practice team as required.

Secretarial Duties

  • Type referral letters as dictated by doctors
  • Type administrative letters, reports as required
  • Liaise with hospitals, social services, consultants, etc regarding patient care
  • Refer patients via the e-referral system and oversee progress of those referrals
  • Oversee the advice and guidance process
  • Action clinical tasks
  • The administration of private work requests, eg insurance reports, Subject Access Requests

Previous NHS or medical experience is preferred.
