Practice Nurse (Shenley Green Surgery)

Shenley Green Surgery is looking to recruit an experienced Practice Nurse to join our friendly and supportive clinical team. 

This is a permanent post of 30-37.5hours per week. The days and times are to be discussed at interview and there will be a certain degree of flexibility. The salary will depend on your experience and is competitive.

The ideal candidate will be a registered nurse, with general practice experience with excellent clinical skills. You will be responsible for people with a range of needs so being highly organised, flexible and able to prioritise effectively will be vital. You will need to demonstrate excellent skills including listening and communication, problem solving, team working and offering advice with the focus being on providing a high quality of patient care. Experience and confidence in managing chronic diseases, administering childhood vaccinations and experience in cervical cytology would be key requirements in considering applications for this role.

Our premises are clean, modern, spacious facilities which offer patients a full range of NHS primary care services, including extended opening hours and a range of specialist services within our locality. We have a well-developed PCN, we are working hard with other primary care centres to try and establish key services that will enhance our service offering for a variety of patient groups. We are consistently high QoF achievers and we participate and provide services as part of the Universal Enhanced Services Patient Offer.

Core services are provided from Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 7.30pm, we utilise the SystmOne clinical system.
